Since other people are making long posts, I'll elongate mine a little too.
My name is Chris, and I am the co-guild leader of <Assume the Position> with my wife, Leslie. I'm 24 years old, and I live in the suburbs of Nashville, Tennessee. I work for Computer Sciences Corporation as a clinical help desk analyst. Me and Leslie have a 16 month-old son named Charlie. When I'm not playing WoW, I'm spending time with the two of them.
I started playing WoW about a year and a half ago. My first characters were Alliance on a few different servers to try to play with friends. I had a rogue that I got to 20-something, a paladin I got to 6 or so, and then what I thought was going to be my main, a priest that I got to about 37. Back then, me and my wife only had 1 account, so we would fight over who got to play. When we finally bought a second account, we decided to start fresh on a new server. After a little discussion, we chose Darrowmere, and decided we wanted to play Horde.
Back then, I was a lowbie lock trying to level as destruction. Then, one of my coworkers talked me into speccing affliction, and I was much happier. My aforementioned priest was shadow specced, and I loved the playstyle of him, so affliction came naturally to me.
Me and my wife initially joined a guild called <Fuzzy Slippers of Doom> when we were both either in our high teens or low 20s. We were appointed guild officers for awhile, and had fun with them. After awhile, they fell apart, due to one guild leader not being available due to real life issues, and the other guild leader not caring anymore. So, in a swift and decisive coup, we walked out on FSoD and took several other of the guild officers with us and formed <Assume the Position>.
Initially, we kept to ourselves, just levelling and having fun. After we dinged 70, I have looked ahead to end-game content, and Leslie has kept me in check to make sure that our lowbies are taken care of. When we left Fuzzy Slippers, we swore we would never mistreat or ignore our lowbies, because that was how we felt when we were in that position.
