Here is a list of excellent resources I have compiled to make your WoW time a little less frustrating. This list will be edited as I find and screen more websites.
General Questing and Raiding
www.thottbot.com/ - Thottbot, easily the king of WoW quest and item help. This resource has an excellent database of quests and items, and also includes class and profession listings. I always have a trusty browser pulled up to this site when I play.
www.wowhead.com/ - Wowhead provides basically the same functionality of Thottbot, with the additional resource of a talent calculator.
wow.allakhazam.com/ - Allakhazam appears to be down right now, but it pretty much does the same things as Thottbot and Wowhead.
www.bosskilling.com/ - Provides some good, some not-so-good information on 5-man instance boss strategies. I found that the most informative ones were the first few, up through the Coilfang Reservoir instances, where the fights are narrated. After that, it just gets into videos of groups killing the bosses.
www.bosskillers.com/ - Not to be confused with Bosskilling, Bosskillers is an excellent resource for raid instance boss strategy guides.
www.projectlore.com/ - Project Lore brings together "five dudes, four cameras, and the one and only World of Warcraft." The videos they release are cool, but this is the only place I've found instance guides that are worth a damn.
WoW Add-Ons and Modifications
wowace.com/ - A page dedicated to the Ace add-on system.
wowui.incgamers.com/ - The IncGamers site for WoW add-ons.
wow.curse.com/ - Curse Gaming website for WoW add-ons and mods. One of the better ones out there.
www.wowinterface.com/ - Great site complete with search engine to find just the add-on you're looking for.
General Utility and Equipment
www.maxdps.com/ - Want to learn how to maximize your DPS? Play around with this really easy-to-use tool and find out what spells/abilities you should be using to do it!
www.wow-loot.com/ - Excellent reference site for all classes to find the best gear for your spec.
mapwow.com/ - Interesting mapping website that uses the Google Earth API to provide a very detailed map of any location in WoW, complete with locations of gathering sources, such as mining nodes and plant locations for herbalists.
www.elitistjerks.com/ - If you have a head for numbers crunching and "Theorycrafting", then this site is for you. The forums are what make this site amazing.
mmo-champion.com/ - A highly informative site that includes raid boss guides, but is also up-to-date on all WoW patches, fixes, and generally any other WoW news.
wowinsider.com/ - WoW Insider brings you the inside scoop on what's going on inside WoW, from upcoming patches to interviews to editorials.
www.worldofwarcraft.com/ - The offical website for World of Warcraft. If you're brand new to the game, start here. If you've been playing the game and you've never been here, you're a fucking noob.
forums.worldofwarcraft.com/ - The official World of Warcraft forums, divided by class, server, battlegroup, PvP, etc. The list goes on. Use your best judgment when reading posts to determine if they are truly informative or are just plain drivel.
www.wowarmory.com/ - The official World of Warcraft Armory, where you can look up character and guild information about anyone in the game.
www.wowwiki.com/ - A "Wiki" website for the Warcraft universe. If you're into the lore aspects of Warcraft and WoW, I highly recommend this.
be.imba.hu/ - If you want to "be IMBA", then check this site out. It provides character (and if you register, entire guild) analysis on gear, enchantments, and gems, and takes a guess at what level of PvE raiding you could perform well at.
www.wowwebstats.com/ - The WWS client provides great breakdowns of performance by characters in raids. All you have to do is upload a combat log, and it spits the log out in an easy-to-read, customizable, and should you so desire, sharable format.
Class Related Resources
petopia.brashendeavors.net/ - A comprehensive guide to hunter pets, as well as where to obtain them and what skills they offer.
elitistjerks.com/f31/t13107-hunter_shot_rotation_illustrated/ - A forum post from Elitist Jerks (see above) dedicated to a hunter's shot rotation.
tkasomething.com/ - Another hunter resource full of guides and pet information.
wowmb.net/ - "The Warlocks Den" is a great website for all things warlock. I highly recommend the guides section, particularly the one titled "Gearing Your Warlock."
www.shadowpriest.com/ - A forum website dedicated to shadow-specced priests.
wow.whispre.com/files/priest_guide_v1.0.htm - A fairly comprehensive guide for priests.
www.tankspot.com/ - A one-stop shop for all tanks and wannabe tanks. The guides go into extensive detail about threat and how to manage it. The site is mainly for warriors, but protection paladins should give this site a look too.
www.wowshaman.com/ - A forum site I just found specifically for shamans.
www.shadowpanther.net/ - A website for rogues, again one that I just found. It appears to cover strategy, tactics, and equipment for both PvP and PvE rogues.
thedruidsgrove.org/wow/ - A site for druids of all specs. Includes druid news and forums.
wowpaladin.org/ - A blog site for paladins, complete with news, guides, and other links to check out.
maintankadin.failsafedesign.com/ - Interested in being a pally tank? Here's the place to go.
Again, this post will be edited as more links are discovered. Do you have a website not listed? Respond to this post and list it!
